
Participatory, Inclusive and Green Recovery for Local Public Services in the Earthquake-Affected Region (PACE) Project has organized Grant Information Sessions about the Call for Proposals, in Adıyaman, Hatay, Malatya and Kahramanmaraş between 9-10 December.
The Information Sessions were attended by more than 300 participants, including representatives from provincial and district municipalities as well as chambers of industry and commerce. Grant application packages were introduced during the sessions and information was provided regarding the application and participants were provided with information on developing project proposals that are compatible with the grant application package.
Prior to the Grant Information Sessions, a “Needs Analysis Workshop” was held where the findings of the needs analysis study conducted to identify the needs of local governments benefiting from expert support under the PACE Project were discussed.
In addition to physical meetings held in four cities, an online meeting will be organized on December 15th in both Turkish and English.
The PACE Project jointly funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is coordinated by Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Directorate for EU Affairs in collaboration with the Directorate General for Local Authorities of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Union of Provinces and The Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT). The project is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
