Eastern and South-Eastern Anatolia Development Agencies Project is in London!

Within the scope of the project, representatives from Eastern Anatolia Development Agency, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency, Serhat Development Agency, Northeast Anatolia Development Agency, Dicle Development Agency, Karacadağ Development Agency received a training in London following the in-country trainings.

24 monitoring and evaluation experts and managers from six development agencies successfully completed the advanced impact assessment training.

During the 5-day training which was held under the scope of the project run by Eastern Anatolia Development Agency, Institue for Fiscal Studies – IFS and Kalkınma Analitiği Derneği, main focus was on quantitative impact assessment methods. The training given by Dr. Barbara Sianesi and Dr. Bet Caeyers from Institute for Fiscal Studies, was completed by the modules on qualitative methods instructed by Claire Hutchins (Oxfam) and Andrew Kardan (Oxford Policy Management).

One of the upcoming activities of the project is the preparation of a handbook about impact assessment for governmental institutions. An impact analysis study plan will also be developed for the assessment of the current projects run by the development agencies.
