Feel free to leave questions for the Technical Assistance Team below.

What is the new structure of the Activist Program?

The new application categories of the Activist Program are:

  1. Operation/Meeting Assistance: Work by CSOs towards advocacy, network establishment, cooperation and reinforcement is assisted.
  1. Mobility and Network Establishment Assistance: An appropriate environment for topics based on rights, on both the national and international level, network establishment, cooperation, entrepreneurial partnerships and mutual learning experiences is provided.
  1. Organizational Assistance: The capabilities and resources of fundamental organizations and disadvantaged groups are reinforced.
  1. Campaign Assistance: The advocacy efforts of CSOs and activists are supported through assistance with campaign administration and a supply of visual aids to reinforce their projects.
  1. Communication Assistance: The organization visibility and established identity of fundamental organizations and CSOs are supported.

The Activist Program is also transforming their application process along with its categories. The new assistance mechanism is flexible and swift, and supports the beneficiaries from the day of the application through to the implementation.

What has changed in the application and implementation process?

  • The Activist Program accepts applications at all times of the year.
  • Assistance reaches all actors of the civil society because of the enlarged resource pool.
  • The new and extended Sivil Düşün Information Desk team supports the beneficiaries throughout the entire implementation process
  • Sivil Düşün helps civil society actors meet with national and international foundations of similar interests and provides a medium for them to establish a network.
  • The program extends its aid limit with an inclusive point of view for all rights-based civil society organizations, civil cooperations, networks, platforms, trade unions, city councils, the human rights and civil society units of universities, university clubs, other non-profit organizations and activists concerned with human rights.
