The “Strengthening Cooperation in Media” Project which is conducted by Kanal Avrupa TV in collaboration with Vizyon 58 TV (Sivas) and APA Produktion (Germany) ended with a closing meeting held in Ankara on January 9, 2016.

Following the opening remarks of the project representatives, activities conducted under the scope of the project were summarized. During the project which aimed to improve the cooperation between German and Turkish media corporations and to inform public as well as media workers about Turkey-EU relations, the importance of intercommunal dialogue was emphasized.

6 programs prepared in accordance with European Union’s different policy areas were broadcast live on both Kanal Avrupa and Vizyon 58 channels. Also, for the documentary shot across Europe and titled “BizSiz Olmaz” (Not Without Us), interviews were made with Turks who were successful in sports, politics, and arts. During the meeting, Can Unver talked about the production stages of the documentary and mentioned that the result was beyond expectations.

The meeting ended after the projection of the trailer of the “BizSiz Olmaz” documentary.
