CSSP III, which is a continuation of the previous Civil Society Support Programmes, was implemented to include CSOs in EU countries and candidate countries over the same priority areas. In this context, 3.2 million euros of grant support was given to 34 projects.

With these supports, it was aimed to:

• Increase the organisational capacity of CSOs,
• Encourage partnerships between CSOs,
• Strengthen active citizenship and the participation of CSOs in decision-making processes,
• Develop the legal framework for active citizenship.

With the projects carried out within the scope of CSSP III, 20 networks / platforms were formed with the participation of 426 CSOs; The organisational capacity of 130 CSOs improved; 3,051 people participated in 92 trainings; 118 public-CSO cooperation protocols were signed; 11 policy documents were proposed to public institutions by CSOs, and the current 18 policy documents were monitored by CSOs.
